Lagos House
The film produced by Building Pictures about the House in Lagos, designed by the architect Mário Martins, portrays the beginning of the summer vacation in the white, horizontal, scattered and loose volume, which floats over the surroundings, and towards the Algarve sea.
We entered the house through a concrete walkway, and came across the housing floor, characterized by the high transparency of the space, which is being guided by the characters in the film and which contains the living room, kitchen and bedrooms. It is visible, along this route, a direct connection between the house and the sea and the outside.
The film highlights the reinforced concrete stairs, designed in a sculptural form, through the various paths that the viewer is invited to make.
The film ends with night images where you can see the lighting design of the Lagos house.
